How do I select a mount compatible with my TV?

See our advice sheets "What screen do I use for what" and "What mount do I use for what screen".

Whatever you choose, you must also make sure your mount is strong enough to take the weight of the screen. (This is specified on every product factsheet, on the understanding that, for the safety of your screen and people, ERARD mounts are tested not to break at loads four times the maximum load indicated.)

For esthetic reasons, we recommend checking that the mount you have chosen does not protrude beyond the edges of your screen.

What is a FIXED mount?

Your wall mount cannot be rotated or tilted.

The type of mount is perfect for installation high in your field of vision.

What is a TILTABLE mount?

Your mount can only be tilted.

This type of mount is perfect for installation at the top of your screen.

What is a TILTABLE and ROTATABLE mount?

Your mount can be rotated and tilted manually.

This type of mount is perfect for installation between two rooms or in a corner.

What is the VESA standard?

VESA has become the standard for wall mounts. It specifies the distance between attachment holes at the back of your screen.

The best way to know the VESA of your screen is to look at its product information (or to measure the distance between the attachment holes at the back of the screen.)

What is an ERARD wall mount made of ?

Every ERARD wall mount is made of

• A wall plate for attaching the mount to the wall, plus a screw set for plain walls
• A screen plate for attaching the mount to the screen, plus a univesal screw set for all makes and models

How you I attach your mount to the wall ?

If your wall is made of a uniform dense material, you can use the wall screws supplied with all ERARD wall mounts.If your wall is plasteboard, check on the product factsheets that the ERARD mounts are compatible with plasterboard.You need to use the fixing screws specifically for plasterboard.

How do I attach the TV to your mount ?

Select the screws supplied with our mount for your type of screen, in terms of diameter and length.Follow the mounting instructions and images in the accompanying notice.

What is furniture Ecotax all about ?

In line with the decisions of the Environment Forum (Grenelle de l’environnement), every furniture seller must now incorporate the cost of collecting, sorting, recycling and disposing of end-of-life furniture.To comply with this obligation, ERARD belongs to a government-accredited body called ECO-MOBILER (www.eco-mobilier.fr) to which we make a financial contribution or "eco-contribution" for every item of furniture sold in France in accordance with an official contribution scale.With this funding, ECO-MOBILIER, on behalf of its members, can collect sorted end-of-life household furniture and send the sorted material for recycling.In accordance with Article L 541-10-6 of the French Environmental Code, the eco-contribution is :

• shown separately as a addition to the product’s unit price on the sale invoice and on all supporting information at furniture outlets;
• collected identically until the end-customer with no reimbursement or refund;
• subject to VAT.
